Intro to Web Design

You will start with a wonderful online resource that goes through the basics of HTML, CSS, jQuery, and Javascript code. Then you will move into a couple projects about HTML and CSS using notepad to create it from scratch. Finally, you move into Wix and create a personal website and recreations of the different club sites to test your knowledge of web development!

 

What You'll Learn

Topics covered include: HTML, CSS, jQuery, Javascript. Using HTML and CSS, you will learn the basics of tags, layout designs, and format for an HTML document. Then with jQuery, there are many interactive animations you could add to your site, such as moving elements. Finally with Javascript, there are ways to create drop down menus.
